Being a mom for a month. It has been truly amazing, frustrating, exciting, and an eye opening experience. He is amazing!! The only time he crys is when he is hungry, which is EVERY 2 hours like clock work. I think the longest I have slept this month is 3 hours at a time. Crazy that my body is still running but I know that is what God had in the plans so I'm just hopping for the time that he will be sleeping through the night (or at least most of it :). He has just started smiling (other than gas) at me and being really attentive (just looks at me when I'm talking to him). I love every min. with him, but I enjoy the time when it is just Jason and I.
Speaking of my prince charming he has planned a "date" for us Fri night (and its a surprise). I can not wait!! I love that Davins Lita (that is short for Abuelita which means grandma in Spanish...we have to keep the Latin culture in him :) lives so close we can take him over to visit when ever we need our time. God has not only blessed me with one amazing man but with two. I know I dint deserve it, BUT i love my life!!

Baby Davin Jase

For all of those that read my blog and are always bugging me to update it....here goes. Jason and I went in for our 37 week check up on May 28th as always I was joking with him about having the baby that day. I told him okay I shaved my leg's were having a baby today :). We got into the room and I told him, "the Dr's going to come in check everything and tell me I am 4 cm dilated" of course he was playing along. When the Dr came in he was checking everything and looked at the nurse with big eye's and said "she's 4 cm dilated" for a sec I was like is there a camera in this room, but then he said NO NO she is 5 cm dilated and 90% a-face. WHAT that is great (think that is what I said) the nurse said "honey are you in pain?" "Most women come in 2 cm dilated crying or about to start screaming". I was like yeah I guess but I've been uncomfortable for awhile now so I dont really know what I am should to be feeling. Anyways Davin Jase (Davin in Hebrew means the same as David which God called his beloved, and Jase is the same in Greek as Jason (after daddy) which means healer) joined us at 2:44. He was 7 pd 7 0z and 20 1/2 inches (37 1/2 weeks). He is my second best blessing my first is my amazing husband. I told Jason this was God's wedding gift to us (since we conceived on our wedding day and all......we waited and God blessed us for it).

Boys boys boys

As I'm getting closer and closer to the due date (June 7th) I of course am getting more and more excited by the min. I just found out that Brad (one of Jason's close friends who was also in our wedding) is also having a boy along with a couple we know from church. CRAZY it must be the season for boys. Anyways we have the paint now for the baby's room and Jason should be on that soon.....so ready for us to have everything organized and ready for little Davin's big day! We are having our 1st baby shower in Tulia (the weekend of the 12th in April), so of course something else to get me more pumped about the big day.....lots of baby stuff :) We have our 7 month appt next Wed, I am always ready to go see him or hear his little heart beat (which on our last visit i was told was VERY strong). He is moving allot now and every time he does it makes me smile. There is nothing like felling your baby move as God is making him inside of you. What a blessing! God is GOOD!!
Be a blessing and be blessed.....

Baby Belly

Okay everyone here is an update. I am starting to have allot more good days and also starting to gain a little weight (as you can see). I have been out of work for a couple of days the Dr. has taken me off for 2 weeks. He wants me to rest, gain weight, regain my strength, and move some due to the lower back pain I have been having because Davin is setting so low. I am getting more and more excited by the day getting ready to meet him, see what he looks like, and start being a mommy. :)

It's a Boy!!!

So as most of you know I have been VERY sick with this little one, but he is healthy and that is all that matters. I am now 18 weeks along and (thank you God) this sickness is starting to fade! Jason and I went in for our Sono yesterday and found out we have a healthy baby boy (and yes he is for sure it was not a finger or toe) lol Since (yes only a day) I have registered at 2 different stores and been online looking at baby bedding ect. Which every girl knows just makes you more excited for the new baby to be here. I am hoping my mom and sister can come down sometime this month and help me get the nursery ready (I've already found everything I want so that should make it easy). However it has been challenging to not go out and buy everything I want (today). But I still have 3 baby showers so I am still trying to contain myself :) Anyways just wanted you all to know I am getting more and more excited about my new baby Boy by the min.

My life (crazy and ever changing for the best)

Well for my first posting I think it would be great to tell the greatest love story of my life. On a cold day in January I met the love of my life.... he walked or hopped into my life. A great friend who knew us both kept telling Jason (aka the man of my life) that "he had the PERFECT girl for him".
Now for those of you that know Heath know that when he has something set in his mind he can be the most persistent person on Gods green earth about it, and lucky for Jason and I he had a feeling about this. So for weeks he kept on Jason about emailing me on myspace (which normally I would have deleted an email from a guy I didn't know without even reading it, but the title bar said "hi I'm Heaths friend", so I thought uuummm okay I'll read this one). We emailed back and forth a while and I thought this guy seems really cool. He's a Christian, went to a bible college, was really nice and funny....... right then I knew it was God working in my life. This could not have happened at a more random time in my life..... PERFECT I love things to happen out of no where.
On that January night when we finally met for the first time he had just broken he's knee 3 days before so needless to say was in allot of pain and on crutches. He always teases me on how I made him walk (or hobble) all around the parking lot. We had coffee, and laughed all night and spent every day for 2 weeks together (till I finally got another job in Dallas, long story I'll save this one for another day). Then on the 8th of September we got married :). The most beautiful wedding just how I had dreamed it would be when I was a little girl. God is good and has always given me more than I could ever wish for or deserve!!
